Stomatella or?

I believe this is a stomatella snail. If it is I have several right about the size of pencil eraser. Its slug like with what looks like a thumbnail for a shell.

Sorry for the bad pics, but its way at the back of my tank and zooming in distorts the image.

+1 exactly what it is, and "slug with a fingernail for a shell" is my exact line used when describing them.

Yup , I have a ton of little ones in my sump and about 2-3 big boys in my tank.

Yup stomatella snail... Congratulations they are awesome cleaners and nothing bothers them. I started with two big ones in my 25g tank from some live rock and now have hundreds...when the lights go out they are everywhere.

When they breed you'll see them puffing a cloudy substance...if you see that your in great shape, you'll get more and it lets you know your tank is in good shape.
