Hi! I've come to the salty side! I'm wondering what corals would be tough enough to

a) survive a n00b like me
b) survive a valentini puff

What do you guys think? I'm looking for inexpensive corals. I'm probably going to accidentally kill a few and I don't want my bank account to suffer too much.

Kenya Tree, Green Star polyps, some of the more common Zoanthids, Palythoas & Mushrooms come to mind first.

What else are you going to keep with the puffer?

a valentini will be a crap shoot whether it will chew up your corals. Mine never bothered my kenya trees or mushrooms. For some reason my zoos were crack to him and would demolish them.

My stars and stripes didn't bother anything, I had some SPS and ricordia in the tank with him. Was the perfect fish until my haddoni got him.
