I have what I think is a saddle back clown, it has black and white stripes with an orange belly and face. If I put my hand in the water he attacks, put my hand over the tank to feed them and he is jumping out of the water to bite.
I just put 2 firefish gobies and several other fish, he chases them all into the rocks and swims all around looking in the crevices for them.

I am thinking about making a plexy breeder type container that I can put new fish in for a week or so to acclimate them better. I am thinking maybe if he saw them for a while then he wouldn't attack as much.

I have about 5-6 pairs of different clowns, one of them is a 4 year old pair of reg Ocell. the female is extremely nasty. The other pairs are extreme snow onyx ( 3 pair, don't attack like she does) and one paired snowflake perc and black ocellaris, calm as well.

I've seen her go from crevice to crevice searching for the little fish hiding. Saw one out grabbing some food, as soon as she saw him she darted right at him, chasing him back under the rocks. Any idea how I could get new fish without them being tormented by her?

ive had a regular orange and white ocellaris that acted the way yours does and i ended up returning it to the lfs when i watched it kill a royal gramma, two yellow watchman gobies and beat the living hell out of a maroon clown

the only advice i can say is return it

Looks to me like a black photon, a hybrid of a black ocellaris and onyx percula.

Looks like a regular ocellaris variant. Is there another clown or mate in the tank? Maybe she needs a boyfriend?

Have you tried taping a mirror to the tank?
I once had a pair or misbars that once killed every other fish in the tank. It was too painful to get rid of them but eventually I had to.

Btw, I was kidding when I wrote that. Given the aggression she might kill any potential mate as well.

Looks like a regular ocellaris variant. ...
I don't think so.
It looks precisely like this: http://www.seaandreef.com/marine-ornamental-fish/clownfish/black-photon

It does look identical to the black photon

What size tank?
Clowns are pretty territorial, especially in smaller tanks

Its a tall 75gal cube, 24"-24"-30"tall, im thinking I should take her down to the lfs and pick up 2 of another species. Any recommendations? I believe ive read perculas are very peaceful.
