Just getting my tank cycling and I bought a Hanna phosphorus checker and I'm getting 70ppb as it is and I had about 40 lbs of dry rock. I'm thinking I should expect some more phosphates as a result. Any perticular brand of reactor I should stay away from? Btw. 80 gallon tank 55 gallon sump (30 ish full) Thanks in advance

Let the tank cycle. Don't worry about phosphates for now.
You want to focus on ammonia and nitrates.

Agreed, once your cycle has been completed you can focus on other aspects of your water chemistry. Just ensure that your cycle levels out accordingly then stock your aquarium to keep things going.
