Can someone help identify this LPS...... Local fish store was not sure, I am not sure, its cool but would be nice to know if it is something that needs to be well taken care of or is okay as it is, encrusting or makes it own skeleton or..... Just what ever.

bump, I am still in the gonipora (sp) family but not sure

Pics too small to tell. Alveopora is 12 petals per polyp, and gonipora is 24.

Good job, you should know it now as it's much easier to count the petals.
