can any id this coral?

I got a frag for free. Owner didn't know what it was either weird. He was gonna throw it away figer it was dead. but I took it and cared for it lol. Dying to the point where coral skeleton was showing and tissue almost gone. I had him for about 2 month now and showing sign of healing very slow. But don't what kind of coral it is. Maybe acan? Also does anyone know what kind of marine bug this is? Hard to see but thats the best shot I could get of him. it's really small white/yellowish bug.
