HI RC, I replaced my RO membrane after 4 years because the TDS post RO went up to 6 and it is usually 4. the new membrane is the same model but my TDS is 8 now. i've made about 20 gallons of RO water and it seems like it's now bouncing between 7 and 8 TDS. is this normal or should I pull the membrane out and try to re-seat it in the housing?

Did you replace the rest of your filters also or just the RO membrane? Also I would also run more water through it and check again.

Yes, I did a full swap and bleached everything while there was nothing in it. rinsed it well and added all the filters back in. I run 5 gallons through each filter when I put them in so nothing clogs up the next filter. i'll run it again tonight and see if anything changes.

If it still is running high after that then check to make sure the filters are seated properly in case something is getting bypassed. Good luck.

What is your incoming TDS?

What is your incoming water pressure?

Incoming tds is 180-200. 183 currently with 8tds post membrane.

I should add its a Dow filmtec 75gpd membrane.
