My 40 breeder tank has been setup for 1 year now. I think its coming along ok, maybe a little slower then id like, but still growing. I have 5 fish in it now, I guess im at the max stocking? Could I add a shrimp or something? I dont wanna upset the balance lol. Anyway, here is a pic of when I first started, and then a pic from today. Oh, stocking is 1 Clown, 2 Firefish, 1 Royal Gramma, 1 Six Line Wrasse, 6 hermit crabs, 6 snails. I use a Fluval 206 canister filter with Phos-Zorb, and Chemi-Pure Elite. Also a Reef Octopus BH-100 skimmer, and I do weekly water changes with RODI water, and Red Sea Coral Pro salt. For the corals I have just easy soft corals, kenya trees, mushrooms, button polyps, gsp.

Looks good. I applaude you for leaving your scape alone. I cant seem to do this myself...

Thank you, I learned my lesson the hard way. Before I set up the 40 breeder, I had a 20 long, I used to change the scape so much that I upset all my fish so bad they all died.

Nice Job. The biggest shock is remembering how white the rocks were in the beginning!
