Nice video. Love the Tiger Goby. Had one for 3 years and was the hardest working fish at keeping the sand sparkling white. I've been on the lookout for another one.

Hey so it really depends on your tank and the bio load. If you have no fish and aren't producing any waste, such as nitrate and phosphates, then you don't have to do any water changes just top off with freshwater. If you only have corals then it depends on the nutrient levels of your tank because corals sucks up all the Calcium and magnesium and all those things so testing would tell you when to do a water change. If you have both coral and fish then maybe once a week but again you'd have to test your parameters and see. A tank with fish only will probably need a water change every week...But let me tell you this, a small tank like ours though cannot get away with no water changes in 3 weeks though. If you wait too long you'll be headed in destruction lol

So with that being said...Any given tank doesn't have a set water change schedule. Just depends on you and your tank.
Hope that helps. As for the lights...again same thing. It depends on your tank but for me I try to only run my lights no more then 10 hours a day...but every one is different.

As far as my tank goes with water changes. I try and do a water change every 7 days because I'm keeping a tiger watchman goby that I feed at least 4 times a day, until he goes into my 40 breeder, so my nutrient levels get pretty high pretty quick.

Thank you! He's awesome I can't wait to put him in my 40 breeder when I'm finished with it! He's hard work though being in a small 10 gallon. I have to feed him at least 4 times a day so that requires me to do WC every 7 days lol but he's fun!
