I have a two outlet receptacle behind my tank with two individual 20AMP circuits. I have 2 EB8s, but trying to cut down to just one. I have a spare outlet in my EB8, and was going to plug my grounding rod into it? I might be using only one of the outlets, so that might be an option plugging it into the second one there. I just dont want to put it into the EB8, and either damage it, or make the ground ineffective.

TIA Derek

Ground is ground whether it's in the wall outlet or the energy bar outlet, or at least it better be!

On another note, I am not a fan of grounding probes. This is one of the most hotly debated topics in RC. Off topic here, but highly suggest you scan the debates and decide for yourself.

I am not a fan of grounding probes either, but if you want to install probe do that closest to actual electrical outlet

I never used one, but had one. I will read up on it first thanks. I wasn't sure if it would damage the Apex

This pretty much sums it up for me also.

Grounding probes are a scam and the devil's work. :mad2:
