I need help getting my MP10's to start speaking with each other...

I bought two new MP10W's last March at my LFS. Manuf in 2014 I think. No problems. Plugged them in, followed the directions, master and slave went to work.

I recently picked us a used MP10W at my LFS. Manuf in 2011.

I tried no less than a dozen times and I can't get it to go into slave mode with the other two units.

I followed the directions explicitly that are online, but it doesn't react the same way my 2014 units do when pressing the sequence of buttons.

I tried to update the firmware by getting into go into update with one of my newer units, but it won't cooperate.

What am I doing wrong here???

Is the blue W lighted in the upper right corner of the controller? If not, this is a non wireless model and cannot be paired wirelessly.

Correct. The W is not lit.

I assumed that since it had the W on it, that it was as wireless model.

Do the wireless and non wireless units all share the same controller housing?

That is correct, the lighted W is how you will determine if a unit is wireless or not.
