any black acrylic or plastic? I want to make a top for the back of my Solana. I think doing this will help eliminate some of the noise coming from the skimmer and the fizzing bubbles.

Plastek industries is a good place, they just have a $25 minimum. American plastics is cheap but some of their products are junk. Farco is also good but a bit on the pricey side unless they have a scrap piece you want.
