Hey there! So one of my Local fish stores got in some pretty, yellow and red gorgonians in today. They came right out of the ocean and I want to "cure" them of any pests or waste. They're about 10 inches wide and 11 inches tall. I don't have an exact photo of them, so I found a pic of them off of "Melevs reef" ( Don't worry, I know exactly how to take care of sea fans, gorgonians etc)

These are menella sp. corals.

I use iodine products like Lugols to dip the coral before putting them in the display tank. I don't use the tree oil based stuff like coralrx or revive. I am just not sure how safe those are.

Just follow the instructions. If its a big coral and you can't set up a dipping container I just put the iodine based digs right in the bag the coral came in (scaled to the right proportions).
