Just curious here, but when your fish first hatch, what's their initial mouth size when they start eating prey items? What are the sizes of those prey items? I'm thinking that there has to be a correlation between mouth size and prey size (besides the obvious "it has to fit in the mouth"). Would y'all mind giving me the fish species, the initial size when eating starts, the mouth size when eating starts, the prey item, and the prey item size? For example (and I could be completely wrong here):
Ocellaris clownfish (Amphiprion ocellaris); 1 millimeter; 1/10th of a millimeter; rotifers (L strain); 500 um
or something like that.
