I have two MP40's QD's. Is it bad to run them in pulse mode at 45% power and a 7 second pulse?
I wonder, because mine have developed a grinding noise in the bearings.
Anyone else?

You think I wrecked them?

No, I was waiting for the bearing noise to rear its ugly head in the new "quiet" versions.

How long have you been running them? At first mine had a significant grinding noise in pulse mode and I thought I had just made a $400 mistake. After two weeks I can't even here it running now.

I think mine have been running a few months now.

I just hope that after a few months of running in pulse mode has not rendered these al loud as my old MP40's.
ETM, any ideas? It may be a dumb question, but was there any long term testing on these in pulse mode?

Settings,
That is an unusual issue. I would recommend removing the wetside and allowing the dryside to run without the wetside attached. If you no longer hear the noise, cleaning the wetside would be a good option. If you do continue to hear the same grinding, please contact us directly.
Do you have instructions on QD cleaning?
