I'm getting a bunch of algae all of a sudden..
Hair algae mostly.. some green on the glass. Brown sludgy looking gunk on the back wall also.
I bought 5 turbos a little big ago, but most of them have already died due to the heat. I've since then bought a chiller, so the temp is under control. I have a few astrea and nassarius left, with 1 maybe 2 turbos. I also have a cleaner shrimp but he mostly just hides in the rocks in the back.

Should I load up on more of my current snails or is there a better one/fish to get?
Or should I just sack up and manually clear it all out?

lmk!

It's a 30g cube.
With a 20g sump also.

I used one today and got most of it off of the back wall. I just used a fishnet to catch most of it floating around after.

Snails will do next to nothing on walls I agree with the above the best way is a razor algae blade

The best way to improve is to try something new- some Nat geo doc:rollface:

Yeah, I wouldn't think you'd need more than a few algae eaters and a couple nassarius. The glass is never gonna get snailed clean, but they help move it off the rocks and into the sand as poop.
