I am currently cycling my tank its been 1 1/2 days since I added the water and live rock, however my heater stopped working and my water temperature dropped to room temperature which is 69 degrees is this going to inhibit growth? I already ordered a new aqueon 100w heater which should be here in a few days I just hope that it doesn't kill all my live rock or sand or anything like that. Any input is appreciated.

I also have not yet selected my stock list so feel free to make suggestions.

69F is not bad, yes it may inhibit growth a bit, but won't be killing anything really. Don't worry. :)

It will be fine for now. Of course having a stable normal temp is best.

To give you good suggestions we will need to know more about your tank. Tell us your size, dimensions, amount of rock, light, and filtration to get started.

Ok well

-It is a 36 gallon aqueon bowfront 19"L x 30.25"W x 20.875"H
-I have about 13 lbs of live rock and 18lbs of non-live rock (in hopes it will become live soon)
-I have an MR120 55x 3w LED full spectrum light fixture
-I have two aqueon 50 gallon HOB filters which I pulled out of the attic and put new media.
-I also have a 50 gallon power head however for some reason the impeller was scraping the inside so I cut about a half a mm off each blade so its probably not full power, but still very powerful for the size of tank I have.
