We bought some live rock with pulsating polyps attached. There was this round, fan looking thing attached as well. It's greenish and near the bottom by the sand. Anyone know what that is?? Also just realized there is a spaghetti worm in my tank (also in this pic) crazy how many hitchhikers there are!!!

Are you talking about the round ridged coral? It looks like a small plate coral to me

it looks like a dead plate coral skeleton to me as well. and the worm looks like a bristle worm.

Thanks :). Yes I saw a bristle worm too. I was thinking that spaghetti worm was in the sand. Hard to see in the pic but there are clear tentacles coming out and reaching for things. It also seems to have moved since this picture

i would be more concerned about that hair algae then the worms crustations and Corals
Are you using RO/DI water and what lights do you have..

It's an arm of a micro brittle star, harmless.

looks like flatworms in the sand.

Yes you are correct about the flatworms. Had to treat for that today 😳. And am working on the green hair algae with help from the pros at the local store thx 👍🏻😊
