I had some concerns about my DI cartridge that I wanted to address:

After slightly more than 3 months of use (less than 200 gals output) my DI cartridge appears to be failing. It's a color-changing unit and the color is around 50% changed. Sorry, I'm at work & can't give you the model number. Also, the resin has developed gaps, or open areas within the cartridge.

I'm getting a TDS reading of 16, I usually get 0-3. The rest of the filters are almost brand new.

Is the DI cartridge ready to be replaced? My last DI cartridge had a similarly short lifespan, is my source water to blame?

Thanks,
