hey, im from germany and i have bought a new spectrapure maxcap 180 (rev3) from 01/2015.
now i have the problem that my ratio is arround 12:1.
the pressure indicator at the second membrane is at 2 bar (30psi).
now i have bought a flush valve kit and when i installed it i noticed
that the capillare tube (long spaghetti) at the flow restrictor is missing.
then i have seen this post from a user who says that not all flow restrictors
are the same (picture):
http://indmas.org/main/index.php/topic/11443-rodi-flow-rate/
i have a grey flow restrictor inside a red tube.
so is there something missing or do the new maxcap all have
no capillare tube after the grey part and is this maybe the problem of the
bad 12:1 ratio ?

after this i installed a ball valve and set the ratio to 4:1.
now i have a little more pressure at 2.2 bar (36~37psi).
i get 125ml good water and 500ml bad water in 1 minute.

Is the flush valve open?

the flush valve is closed and the ball valve after the flush valve is slightly reduced
to get the 4:1 ratio.

Is there anyway to increase your pressure. IF you are not manually bale to do it then we have pump kits available. Our systems are tested at 60 psi. When you have a lower psi, it typically creates a lot more waste than usual. Increasing the pressure will do a few things: Increase the production rate, decrease the waste-water, and will increase the efficiency of the system.
