So I love my big grouper. He is the prize of my tank, but I can't add any small fish.

I was thinking that mayye I could add a few dwarf puffers. Would the grouper eat it, or avoid it, knowing it was poisonous?

Anyone know or have expirance?

If it's smaller than his mouth he might try.

it would fit in it's mouth for sure, the question is, would it know the puffer would kill it if it ate it.

It would suck to have 2 dead fish. :(

I had a large blue spot grouper once that bit my porky puffer in half that was almost the same size as him. So I wouldn't do it. That's the downfalls of housing a large aggressive fish. I wouldn't worry about it, he's cool enough.
