So my Galaxy electronic select-a-watt ballast crapped out. I use two over my 150 reef on the hqi setting to drive my radiums. I went online to buy a replacement and am surprised to learn that they no longer make them. I have been running them for years so have been out of the loop with ballasts. I can't find a replacement anywhere. Actually, I can't seem to find much of anything.
Can someone steer me in the right direction for a ballast to power my radiums?

There you go. They're listed as Temporarily Sold Out, but I understand they should be restocked fairly soon. They're not discontinued just on back order.

If you really like the electronic ballasts look here. I prefer the M80 HQI by hamilton for radiums. Runs them closer to spec for better par, but pick your poison. You're right, MH stuff is getting harder to find. Only a couple dedicated aquarium companies left selling them. Look on some horticultural websites. They're still ultra popular with growers despite advances in LEDs

Side note...Sunlight Supply still makes and sells boatloads of reflectors and ballasts, just not the Galaxy and Lumenmax series reflectors targeted toward aquarists. Their stuff is all sold under the Horticultural flag now.
