Crazy alien worm on my glass

Any ideas? It's about 2 inches long and white and really curly.

It's much longer than 2 inches if it were straightened out, but as it sits it's less than the length of my index finger

Looks like snail eggs to me, but I'm on mobile. It's not moving is it?

I did see an arm or something swaying in the current. I can't pick out individual eggs

To me it looks like astrea snail eggs, having said that, I'm on mobile.

It is snail eggs. Just had the exact same thing in my tank and watched the snail lay them. Congrats! You're a parent!

You might see some survivors down the road when they get bigger. Looks like most of mine got eaten, but time will tell.
