It's Tiiiimmmee!!!

I need to start thinking about a stock list, my system is cycling and it's time to start doing my due diligence. Here's the system specs:

55g display with BA drain. It drains about 15' down to the sump, which is a 50g stock tank. There is also a 30g fuge that drains into the sump as well. There is an ATO and an auto water change system.

The DT has two RW-4s on each end with two reef breeder novas.

Animal wise, I want all small nano animals. The tank is not big and I really want an "Easter egg" tank. Meaning, a tank that you have to look at hard to find cool little things in the ecosystem. I like odd and personality over color and difficulty. I'm not looking for things too difficult or labor intensive to maintain. I want to enjoy my tank rather than thinking about all the work I have to do every time I look at it. I also want a "sump monster." A animal to put in the 30g fuge that is interesting and simply can't live in the reef. Think anglers, scorpions, etc.

GO!

I've really considered that. My only problem with that would be that it will just mutilate any cool crabs or snails that end up down there.

I think a fish predator would be better suited.

I do want a mantis though. Severely.

I think a great addition to an "Easter egg" stocked tank would be the Discordipinna griessingeri. Very cool goby, but not an open water swimmer and pretty cryptic.

once is has a high pod pop. how about a Mandarin. has it all personality color and wow factor.
I think with the 50 and 30 sump fuge along with the 55 you prob. would be good to go. once it full of life.

some of my favs. that some will be going in to my tank are:
midais blenny
tail spot
star blenny
