MP40's or 60s?

Hey guys, for my 180, I am going to upgrade the powerheads, 4 MP40's or 2 MP60's?

I've got 4 MP40s on my 270, two at each end, and sort of wish I had 1 MP60 at each end instead... So much "stuff" hanging off the side of my tank!

I dunno if you need 4... I have 2 mp40 on.my 180 and they ad plenty of flow for me as far as I'm concerned and I have sps so flow is number one

As colonies mature I can guarantee you that you'll want more flow. I'm putting two MP40wQD on an 80g so I can't see getting away with that on a 180g for very long. The more flow you can offer SPS the better, I want my SPS to grow naturally and low flow can cause unnatural growth patterns. I won't be surprised if I have to add more myself so just keep an open mind to adding more in the future. :)

Hummm good to know I just know that right now I get sand blown every where and the one torch I have is bent over at times

I run the Ummm reef crest on 100%...yellow setting.that's not the lagoon one and yeah it displaces sand and such

But tbh I considered either getting couple mp10s to run the botom say third the tank and the 40s to run the top two thirds
