Where is everyone placing the iTemp and PH Probes at?
Inside the overflow boxes or the sump?
If in the sump which chamber are they in?
Are they fully submerge able or partially ?

I Temp is in Sump, Second Section, mostly submerged

When you say mostly submerged is the water up to where the wire is at?

What about the PH Probe?

About 3/4's up and no PH probe. Since I do not dose, I don't feel the need for a PH probe.

I have had mine submerged before without any issues. I have a couple of probes that go back to 2008. I have not had any live animals in the system so that may be the reason that they have gone so long. They were submerged for long periods during that time.

As long as the seals are intact, the probes can be submerged without a problem. The only porblem will be that over time the saltwater will cause the wire casing to become brittle, so best not to keep entire probe submerged. Would also recommend they be placed where they get constant flow around probes, allows for a bit more accurate readings.

They need a good flow going past them, especially the salinity probe, if you ever get one. I use a piece of styrofoam with holes in it to hold my probes. That way they are always submerged exactly the same. They are positioned so that they get water flowing past them from the output of my skimmer. The trick to the temp probe in the sump is to make sure that it is nowhere near the heater, for obvious reasons.

I won't be getting the Salinity probe I was reading there have been issues with it.
I like the idea of the Styrofoam. I turned off my heater tank was heating up to 85.4.
Do any of you use fans in the canopies? If so what kind or they?
Glad to know about the saltwater making the wires brittle.

There were many issues with the salinity probe a long time ago, but the SL2v2 and salinity probe have been rock solid for quite a long time now.
