I have A small pond that is about 200 to 300 gallons with approximately nine small goldfish. I was having algae problems and originally used a pond master filter that was attached in front of the waterfall. That was getting clogged every 2 to 3 days so I removed that and attached the ocean clear 319 after the waterfall. It appears to be doing the job. When I go to remove the filter I cannot get the top unscrewed. There is no Teflon tape or pressure gauge on the canister. When I shut off the pump I open the top plastic to let out the air and I drain the water. But I am unable to unscrew the top it is to pressurized. What am I doing wrong?
