Hello,

What is the difference between the 48 and 48-W? I am getting one or the other and will only be running this one unit. I want the unit to be able to do sunrise/sunset and moonlights.

I can't find the exact details on what is different.

Thanks

Daniel

I would be interested too. It's time for me to pull the trigger.
It would be nice if there was a sale on the horizon......lol

Hi Daniel,

The W series is thinner, and has a wireless controller. The controller is hand held, so you can program multiple W units at once through a canopy or wall, which is much easier if you enclose the light in a canopy or fish room.

The regular Photons have similar programming, but the controller is built into the front of the unit, and multiple units must be physically linked if you would like to program them all with the same controller.
