Spent a while on it this morning. I was thinking abou putting a small section on the other side but I may leave it like this:

Opinions?

Looks good, it will give you a lot of swimming room for fish. Looks almost the same as the left side of my tank, except I put an island on the right, but a little smaller. I would post a pic but they are too large a file.

Thanks! I wanted to leave room on the right for some Jawfish or other sand loving critter to enjoy, also some swimming room.

I may put a small formation and rubble over there yet, just to give the burrowing critters something to burrow under and stuff to use for "furniture" lol.

Looks good. Will give lots of space to mount frags. I like the idea of the small island on the right. even if it is rubble, it will give the tank some balance.

I like it. I always prefer minimalistic aquascaping.

Looks good but how big is the tank? 50G?. I ask cause that only looks like 20lb of live rock

What are you going to keep? If it's softies and LPS, you'll be fine, but SPS will quickly fill out the height between your highest rock and the top of the water. I'd lower that peak to allow the coral growth to add the visual height you're going for. It also looks a little...stacked. Maybe you can fill the big gaps with smaller rock that provides more shelves to mount corals. I'd try something like that, but not plug them up and lose the swimming room you have. Some can be hidden by taller LPS (euphylia come to mind) growing in front of them, some may need a little rock to help out.

I think you're on your way to a good looking, very open tank. Don't build up the right too much. I'd leave it open for a large LPS (lobo or trach), or some very low rocks with different zoas/palys on them.

There is 100lbs in the sump.

I like the 1st one better. Maybe a piller with a shelf on the right? Good space and growth room for a clam over there as well.

Just my 2 cents. If you intend to keep some burrowing critters, I wouldn't put the rocks on sand. The critters you intend to keep, are not that smart to dig on the right side of the tank only. They can dig under your rocks and all may collapse, hitting the glass walls.
I would put all the rocks on the bottom and still use some glue to keep everything together.

There's just a dusting of sand on the left. Just enough to cover the glass. I didn't want anything digging under them.

I like the second one as it gives more room for corals on the rock work. If it were me i would PUT One piece of rock over on the other side. .
But i have a bad thing about having too much rock.. When i redo ours I am prob going to remove 50 lbs or so.....

Looking great . Remember you are the one who will be looking at it everyday....
