So yesterday I noticed some black spots on my finger leather. Was wondering if anyone might know what it looks like? Not sure if it's fungus, some type of shedding, or a bug? I have not tried to turkey baster the spots yet but will tonight. It seems to be in ok flow, as in it waves around a little bit but might need a little more? I've had it for a few months now and it has been growing since then.

Necrosis perhaps? Definitely use that turkey baster and see if it comes off. Using a small brush might be a good idea as well. If it keeps coming back you might have a problem on your hands. GL.

If it does come back what would that problem be? I'm new to softies.

So I just turkey bastered the leather and the black stuff came off. Now to see if it comes back. If it does what would that mean?http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z198/2wheelrider/Tank/20150805_175551_zpszdqvf9vj.jpg (http://s195.photobucket.com/user/2wheelrider/media/Tank/20150805_175551_zpszdqvf9vj.jpg.html)

If it comes back your probably going to have to frag the coral. Cut the healthy parts off and secure them to a piece of rock or something and discard the black stuff. Basically treat it like cancer. GL.

Different, but the same. (link below)
