Hi All,

I'm finally in the process of upgrading the nano to a Aqua Reef 400.

Now the question, I'm starting to fill the tank with RO and noticed the water level in my tank is the same in the overflow box.
I filled the overflow box on its own and it leaked into the tank, it's leaking from the seam of the overflow. Would this cause any issues with the standpipe? or the overflow in general?

Thanks

It means that when your main circulation pump is stopped the water in the tank will drain down to the same level as the water in the overflow instead of just down to the bottom of the slots round the top of the overflow. Your sump might not cope with this.

It is a manufacturing fault and should be replaced/fixed. The overflow section is mostly glass and has a plastic wrap around that has the slots in it. This wrap around will have to come off so the glass can be sealed to the back and bottom of the tank.

I have the 500 and the overflow section does not leak.
