Is there more functionality provded with Ecotech’s Reeflink EcoSmart Live for controlling Radium lights, Vortech pumps and the just announced Vectra pump than there is in the Apex WXM module?

I do understand there is convenience in doing everything through the Apex but wondered if Ecotech’s own product had more features for controlling their products.

The ReefLink pump control is essentially the same; the integrated functionality with a Radion light through reef link is the ability to generate a "storm", though one could rather easily do that with the Apex and the WXM module.

The one glaring omission with the Apex, WXM and Apex Fusion (the web-based programming interface) is the lack of a realistic moonlight that changes intensity based on the day of the month. Personally, I don't think this is all that big of a deal, but perhaps Neptune has a fix for that issue in the works.

It definitely seems like there are things that the Vectra can do through ESL that it may not be capable of through with the WXM. However they are not make or break features.
