Hi Alex,
Could you make a recommendation for me:
Lighting up a 93 gallon cube 30"L x 30"W x 24"H, will be a mixed reef.
Can I get by with 1 radion xr30 pro? or would I need 2?
Thanks!

I've been told one would do fine, but I had planned on doing two to reduce any shadowing. You could certainly start with one and add a second if shadowing becomes an issue.
My plans changed because I stumbled across a 150DD for a steal.

You can start with one, but I think you'll find pretty quickly that you need 2. One is definitely powerful enough, but as mentioned above the shadowing is a problem.
Alternatively, you could add some t5 bulbs on either side of the radion.

We have a 93 gallon cube here in the office with a single G3 Pro and it has great coverage. I would recommend mounting the light around 10-12 inches for best spread and coverage.

Thanks for the responses everyone. I decided to get a g3 pro with the expectation of needing to get a 2nd later on if I don't like the coverage. Hopefully I'll be surprised and 1 unit will be enough!

I run a 30x31x15. I ran one Reefbreeders, but as said above, it didn't get enough coverage.
I now run 2x Reefbreeders 24" LED's and its perfect.
So I would definitely get two unless you plan to place everything towards the center as most things at or near the glass won't get much at all.
