Are there any pressure rated DC pumps in the market? Is anyone using one currently? I have a basement sump and have to push the water to about 12' not including the bends and elbows. I am currently using Blueline 70. At 290w, it is a friggin' energy hog and want to replace it with something much more energy efficient. DC pumps seems to be rage now so wondering if there is anything pressure rated.

Thanks.

Currently being released is the Ecotech Vectra pump, and Royal Exclusive has the Red Dragon series.

Are they? Or is it just the initial outlay? :)

At a glance, my Blueline 70 costs $20/month more to operate than the bigger Vectra would. Making the change would pay for itself in under 2 years, which would make many accountants interested in the project. I'm in the process of installing a 150DD, and plan on making a tall stand for my basement sump so that the Ecotech pump will be capable of providing more than enough flow.
