Clownfish on walls

Ik i have alot of questions but i am getting more successful. I have some in grow out now. One problem that i always have is them on the walls. I add more green still on walls, more rotifers still on wall, up the air flow still on the walls. What's the deal. Yes my tanks blacked out. I have a 15w incandescent clamp on light that has a dimmer.

Do you have pics of your setup? Is the bottom painted white? First time i heard this so im stumped at this point. I dont think i read anything in joyce's book but will look again
