I have a 37 gallon Oceanic with 20 gallon sump. Total volume probably 50 gallons. I have a small compartment in my sump that is only 5x9" so the footprint has to be smaller than this. I would be open to a HOB. I want to keep mostly SPS so I figured it should be rated for at least 100g. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the response. I checked out their website. Pretty reasonable price. Do you have one? What size tank and bio load do you have ? Type of corals? Thanks again for responding.

Aquamaxx CO-1

Edit...meh, looks like it is an inch too big.

Aquaamax has a hob style skimmer.

Bubble magnus curve 5

I've used an Aquamaxx HOB-1 that was hanging on the side of my sump.

I'm now using a bubble magus curve 5 that would fit but it's very sensitive to water level changes. I would recommend about 7 to 8 inches of water depth for this skimmer.

Looks like great skimmer but according to marine depot's specs, the foot print is too big 7.28*7.08 inches. I can only accommodate 5*9 inches. Maybe I just need a bigger sump?

Sca301

Did you look into this one? I'm pretty sure the SCA-301 would fit in your space.

Skip the sca301 and get a seaside aquatics CS3.5. It's the same skimmer body but uses a sicce pump (SK200). I actually just swapped the sicce into my old sca301 and the improvement over the atman pump is incredible!

SkullV thanks for the suggestion. Looks like a great match for my needs. I went to seaside aquatics website but it is not clear to me that they sell them? No prices or information on how to get one. Do you know where to purchase one?

I would go with fragtastic reef or reef specialty.
