Hi,
I had the co-1 and it started to skim within hours. I just upgraded to the co-2 and it's massively overly flowing. I've scrubbed with with warm water and vinegar, opened the stand pipe wide open, tried 8" and 9" for a day. I have done three 30 gallon water changes (90g. tank) and am running 4 cups of carbon to pull out any unknowns.
I did use 3/4 of a stick of two part epoxy last week but I let it set for an hour, cure in the tank for 48 hours, and then did a 60 gallon water change and added carbon. I did notice some small amounts of the epoxy did not mix all the way (blue/white swirl) but I wouldn't think that would throw off the skimmer that much.
The skimmer is now sitting in 11" of warm water and vinegar and is still overflowing like crazy with the stand pipe wide open. Is that normal?
Any ideas?
