phyto culture, instead of miracle grow use protein skim?

i was thinking of growing phyto but want to avoid miracle grow as the fertilizer. think protein skim will work instead?

Why would you want to? If you phyto gets contaminated, especially with silicates, it will die. Do you have any idea what is in skimate?

Pretty sure Miracle grow has copper in it? think you want to use the f/2 fertilizer stuff.

it was a question, nothing set in stone. i figured skimmate is fertilizer and i don't like the idea of miracle grow chemicals. miracle grow is known to be a horrible fertilizer. i will just go with an organic fertilizer tea.
