does anyone know of somewhere that still sells the speed wave pumps and can get parts? I need 2 of the threaded fittings from the output of a 790.

I don't have the part that I need. its the fitting that screws to the output of the pump it uses the same euro thread as my profilux flow sensor.

Might try a Waveline, they say they are all made alike.

I'm not sure that anyone sells the Speedwave pumps anymore. But as Vinny mentioned, a Waveline part should probably fit. I believe this is the part that claynelson is looking for:

For what it's worth, if you want to hard plumb the pump with PVC, you may want to try a gray electrical conduit PVC fitting. I saw it mentioned in another thread that these fitting have different threads that the white fittings used for plumbing, so I picked some up to try out.

First pic is a white plumbing part. As you can see, it doesn't thread onto the pump very far.

This pic is a Carlon electrical conduit fitting. Screws on about twice as far as the white fitting.

Finally, this pic is a Cantex electrical conduit fitting. This on screws on the farthest and should provide a good seal if an o-ring is used on the pump outlet. Most Lowes and HD carry the Carlon brand, but one of my local Lowes had both Cantex and Carlon brands and I noticed the Cantex screwed on farther, so I intend to use that one.

I can't guarantee that these gray PVC fitting will work leak free, but on another thread someone stated that they should be safe in an aquarium. My tank isn't set up yet, but I'm gonna give it a try once it is set up.

ya I'm looking for the union type of fitting so I can remove the flow sensor for cleaning. I will try to get a photo of one.
