I have a Bengaii Cardinal that seems aggressive? Is this normal. He chases my starry blenny and my candycane hogfish (and I like both of them more). I haven't seen him actually bite them but I'm not watching the tank 24/7. He does leave my mimic puffer and diamond goby alone?

My Bangaii is somewhat territorial....will chase and nip fish that get too close to his "area". Definitely seem to be more aggressive then the Pajamas in my experience.

Mine just floats there. He was aggressive to another Bangaii that was in the tank but no one else.

No aggression here.
Couple of thoughts: what size is your tank and what are your parameters? I've read that low Alk can make some fish cranky

Another floating tank dweller here too..
I had two cardinals but one died (not sure if that was cospecies agression or not)

Thank you all for your replies. I love this forum. I watched him as did my wife for quite some time today and he went after and nipped my starry benny multiple times and went after my candy stripe hogfish. I took him back to my lfs and it is amazing that my candy stripe is out swimming way more
