Purchased a used tank. What are these? (side view, flash light used to light the side up, the acrylic is rather thick)

Can you describe what we are looking at? Are these in a seam? In a pane? Are they 3D protrusions from a seam?

Are those bubbles inside the acrylic? Is the tank new or used? If the bubbles are inside of the acrylic I wouldn't really think it weakens the structural integrity of the tank. However there are a lot of other factors to consider. How big is the tank? Age? If it's new, I'd just go ask for another one, since it is clearly a defect in the acrylic. If it's used I don't think there is much you can do about it.

As other state very difficult to see from the pics

It looks like the seam between the pieces of acrylic aren't solid. Almost looks like the white is air between the seams where it was either made improperly or the stand was off enough that is caused the seams to give in.... but it's just a guess... very difficult to see

What size is the aquarium?
