I encountered my first hitchhikers, they are sprinkled all over the zoo. are these pods? My zoas have been closed for 3 days what should I do? They move erratic.

Do a google search on zoa-pox.

What Mark9 said, zoa-pox for certain. I had a frag have them, ultimately I didn't want to deal with it so I just threw the frag away.

Sounds like zoapox. Glue over the affected zoas if you can or remove them.

Although you said they move. Is it like a pod movement? Because sometimes pods eat zoas or annoy them by hanging out on them.

I am attempting to research zoapox, quick wuestion. The dots I am seeing are moving around. Is that a characteristic of zoa pox?

They look more oblong rater than round like Pox would look. If they are moving around I would say they are pods. How long have the zoas been closed?

Not Zoa pox. I'm thinking a pod of some sort. Some amphipods and Isopods have been known to munch on corals.
