Our plans to come up from Pittsburgh and collect this past weekend were foiled by the threat of a hurricane, so we are planning to come up this weekend instead. I was wondering if anyone is still out there collecting this time of year and if there are any special considerations to take into account so that we come prepared. I am hoping that the recent hurricane brought warm water with it!

Is the water still "divable" this time of year? We enjoy our annual dive at the Pongquo Bridge. Would anyone care to join us?

The bridge is certainly dive able this time of year. Lots of people dive it year round. Not sure if there are any tropicals, haven't had the time to catch the tide there in way to long.

I guess my next question would be that if I were to dive, what mil wet suit would you recommend? I've done it in a 3 mm long before in early Sept. and was comfortable for all the longer I was in the water...

I dove 2 weeks ago and it was 68. Tons of spotfins and very big groupers, a couple damsels as well.
