I purchased an ORA Gold Maxima around 6 months ago (about 2.5-3") and when I placed it, I didn't think about how close it would be to nearby rocks with growth. It has since grown at least a 1/2" in length and it's shell is very close to the rock at one end to the point that the mantle is resting on rock when open. It is firmly attached. Will it move if it outgrows its spot?

You might just wait and see...

I have a Maxima that drives my OCD crazy! I like for it to be lined up straight for my viewing pleasure, but it apparently has its own agenda. Every time that I straighten it, the Maxima shifts itself back to this cockeyed angle over a few days' time. Drives me nutz!

Mine is also firmly attached, but it definitely has the ability to adjust itself. The mantle resting on your rock won't harm a thing, but if the rock begins to impair its ability to fully open, you might consider moving it.
