There's a bunch of things sticking out of the sand bed, they look like the fans of feather worms, but I don't know if they have tubes or not since the rest of their bodies are beneath the sand. Does anyone know what these are?

Probably feather duster worms. I have a million growing out of my sand bed.

Yep, ever since I added TBS rock I have lots of them in the rock and now on the sandbed. Pretty cool, even have a sweet blue one..

I have some really neat ones. They're great at filtering the food out of the water and give the tank a more natural look.
