For those that combine formalin baths with TTM, how many baths do you do? 1 before every transfer, 5? Is that at the 150-250 ppm dosage for an hour?

I use a dose of 20 drops Formalin 37% per gallon which equates to 1ml per gallon.

I usually let the fish in there for 45 minutes but as long as they don't show distress I may go up to 50. If you see them showing signs of distress take them out immediately regardless if the time is up or not.

I use a little Jebao fountain pump to circulate the water.

So far I didn't have any losses of fish that went through this procedure.

As for how often - I usually only do one dip before they go into the QT.
I also found that one dip can be sufficient against brook (though a couple more will for sure be safer).
If you have good reason to suspect they are infected with brook or velvet I would do a dip at every transfer (it also kills any possible free ich stage that hitched a ride).
