The cartridges for a maxcap system are not color change. You would reference your right meter on in and out. They should both be reading 0.

I thought I bought color changing replacement cartridges. I don't have a maxcap unit FYI. I'll have to check when I get home.

Silicabuster is - DI-SB-CI-10
DI is - now that I'm looking, you are correct, it is not a color indicating unit [emoji51]

DI-SB-CI-10 is a color changing unit. What is your tap water tds, ro water tds, and di water tds?

I can't remember the specifics but my ro functions extremely well. Over 98% last I checked. I then have the maxcap di followed with Silicabuster. Off hand my tds post RO is around 2 or 3 I believe. I'm just wondering what to look for in the color change on the silicabuster. It looks exactly the same as the day I installed around 6 months ago.

Then that is part number DI-SB-10, and not DI- SB-CI-10. If it is a color change it would be orange on the bottom 1/3, and blue on the top 2/3. It changes from blue to tan.

Blue to tan. Perfect. Thanks Jeremy
