Hi all, over the weekend I got a green bubble tip anenome. I acclimated it and put it in my tank Saturday and it opened up and looked great after about 2 hours. Saturday afternoon I noticed it was being blown around in the tank by my power heads. I turned the power heads off for a second so it could get a grip somewhere.... It finnaly grabbed onto the lr in a very dimly lit and poor low flow part of the tank. Since then it has stayed retracted for over 36 hours and hasn't done anything. I tried moving a power head to increase the flow where it is currently at after 24 hours and it's still in the same spot retracted. Due to its current location and state I can't feed it. Just for the record I have a 6' 125 gallon tank, I'm running one jebao rw15 and one koralia 4. I had 2 rw15's but the flow was crazy so I took one jebao out and added the koralia while waiting for an rw8. I'm also running roughly 900gph from my return pump after head loss. I am using reef breeders photon 60 LEDs at 30% for now thinking maybe the light was too intense(was at 40%) any ideas or suggestions. Water parameters are 1.025 Sg. 0 ammonia 0 nitrite 5 nitrate. Never had an anenome so maybe I'm worried for nothing.

how long has your tank been setup? I wouldn't worry just yet. It takes them awhile to acclimate to your water/light. They usually move when they are ready.

Agreed.

The best thing you can do is leave the nem and it's environment alone. Being moved is stressful, and it can take a week or more for one to fully adjust to a new tank. Having the flow and lighting constantly changing will add to the stress. Set your tank back the way you want it and let the nem acclimate.

Ok, thanks for the input. I was just worried about it after seeing it get blown around the tank by the power heads. I'll put everything the way I had it and see what happens. Thanks for the quick replies
