20LNano saltwater tank

Hi i was wondering if anyone has attempted this with a hang on filter? Any advice would be much appreciated.

Also if someone could advice what sort of filteration litres per hour would i need for a 20litre tank also

I am doing the same thing. Currently running a aquaclear 30. However most have advised that the mechanical filtration in power filters are just a great way to harbor nitrates and not really needed anyway considering most of the filtration goes on in the live sand and live rock. So.. I believe the media is coming out of mine and getting replaced with chemi pure and Im adding a skimmer.

The search continues on a skimmer. I want something hang on back as Im not running a sump.. and youll find with a 20L you end up taking up a lot of space in your tank with some skimmers. :fun2: So... I'm about to run a seaclone and forget it *puts flame suite on*. Although Im going to keep a light bioload so I don't need a ton of skimming.
