I think I have hydroids, or else something that looks like a little jellyfish stuck on a string is harassing my zoanthids in a few places. And I am doing a tank upgrade in the near future as my fall project is finally on its last legs.

It's not 100% certain I'm going to do this yet but in case I decide I have to: what great harm am I going to incur if I dunk my rocks in a Bayer solution? Besides pods, what gets annihilated? And yes I plan on fully rinsing the rock off before moving it back to a display tank.

Trying to vet out if this is a good option to go with or if I should just get a bunch of H2O2 - but I know my zoas and sticks hate that stuff.

I've never dipped a whole rock before because I'd be afraid of not getting it all out and then affecting the fish.

I had hydroid on zoas. The zoos were not doing well. I used kalk solution, and they seem gone. I killed few polyps in the process. So be careful.
